My wife want's to "spice up the bedroom" but I'm not sure I'm down with her idea
Okay I need some opinions from anyone who has any experience with these things. A little context to my questions. My wife [F36] and I [M37] have been married for almost 13 years. She casually approached me yesterday about spicing up the bedroom. Her suggestion to do this was to incorporate toys but she was really focused nonchalantly on a particular type of toy that she said in her words "might be fun to try". In my wife's way of speaking I take that to mean "I really want to try this!!!" It's something called a penis sleeve/sheath. I had never in my life heard of such a thing. She said she heard about it from her friends (more on that in a second). After some research I guess it's basically like a really thick condom that I would wear that also adds length?!? She kept saying it would be "fun" because it would help me last longer. But, it seems to me it's more likely that her newfound interest in this contraption is that it would essentially double the size of my penis. Am I off base in thinking that's her true motivation? Anyway, I told her I'd think about it. So I have some questions for y'all.

- Is it common for women to talk about stuff like this together? Do women actually talk about their partners penis size with other women? Is that how something like this would even come up? I, for example, have never discussed my wife's boobs or vagina with my buddies but maybe that is normal for women? I'm not mad either way I'm just trying to figure out how something like that comes up.
- Is this something that I should be self conscious about, because I am, and I don't know if I'm being stupid? Isn't she saying my penis isn't good enough for her (I am average, 5.25" long, for reference)? I have been told my whole life, size doesn't matter, it's not the size of the boat and on and on and now I'm starting to feel like that may not be accurate.
- Has anyone used one of these? Can you feel anything yourself? Did your partner enjoy it?
