You mentioned in your original post that it’s significantly harder to be a dark-skinned ethnic person compared to someone who’s lighter-skinned or “normal”-toned, and that’s true. It’s easier to date, make friends, socialize, and navigate the world if you’re lighter-skinned or can somewhat pass as Southern European. That gives you a major advantage not only socially, but also in terms of self-esteem, confidence, and mental health. Sure, the system may still hate you in principle, but that hate isn’t directed at you in its harshest form at least not for the time being. You'll still live a much better life.
