Are the bone changes happening because the bone is losing mass, or because of bad posture during old age?

If it's posture, wouldn't that be evidence for bone remodeling e.g. mewing.

if you mouth breath then you will end up with a recessed jawline and potentially a crooked nose but as long as you mew and keep proper tongue posture you shouldn't have to worry about this
