Currently on Accutane and planning to get a rhinoplasty soon. In a previous post, several people said my maxilla is recessed — but I also have an overbite, so wouldn’t maxilla advancement make that worse?

Another thing I’ve noticed is when I put my front teeth together or slightly push my lips forward with my tongue, I ascend hard, so what would make that permanent?

Retards on this site love misdiagnosing recessed maxilla's. See attached. You are very clearly are not recessed.

if you have an overbite and your top lip "droops" over the lower lip from the side, the effect you're referring to can be made permanent with orthodontic decompensation, creating an overjet of 2-3mm while correcting the overbite.

Honestly your jaw is fine, asymmetrical but only slightly. Biggest falios are soft features. eyes, nose and lips.

Okay thanks for the input I’ll try to work that out with my ortho. Also what would you say to do for my soft features as far as ascending. I’m aware my lips are extremely thin, but lip fillers seem to have a bad rep.
