bhais is it ok to take ashwagandha 1hr before going to bed and like after i woke up
cuz i just bought one and really onknow how to take it properly
why would i wanna take it before and after sleep? cuz ive some insomnia troubles and im pretty sure ashwa can help w that stuff but in the morning i wanna take it due to hydrocortisone method (reducing nose size) i think uall seen this thread, because im going to school in the early morning so im not really sure

It helps with relaxatipn and better sleep.

helps with stress and physical performance

Cortisol is an essential hormone tho, people just stress too much over manmade times and schedules
u fs right bout that but thats just the way our life is going rn and we can’t change a shit about it unfortunately. by “any studies” i meant like studies that r proving that ashwa gives u anhedonia

Idk about studies on anhedonia specifically. But u can look it up. Ive myself experienced anhedonia from it, and lots of personal anecdotes aswell. Goes away when u hop off tho. For me it was a shitpill.

Was on the normal generic dose. I dont remember how much anymore.

Got diagnosed with adhd so im taking vyvanse rn. Helps alot with studies

Stop obsessing about cortisol. Pointless to try and control things like that. The brain is extremely complex, scientists dont understand barely anything about it. Theres a reason most simply stick with only caffeine.

id really like to. but i just cant. endless insomnia cycles, everyday school and im waking up at 5:50 am, its jus too hard for me ngl. i dont wanna take some drugs or semi drugs, however some shit like breathing techniques dont change a single shit for me, so idrk what to do atp

I had the same bro. This will sound like shitty advice but hopping on test mostly fixed it for me, as it made me think and act completely unregrettably and guilt free. Made me stress alot less about things.

I also use 20mg amitryptaline - best long term safe sleep med, as well as 100mg melatonin and sleep great now. Infintely better than when I was going through the worst of my insomnia.

idk really im only 16, and im really kinda scared to hoping on some heavy shit. its really sounds great but worth the risk tho?

Wasnt recommending it just saying my experience, try to get a sleep drug prescribed for it though for now, no drug is gonna be worse for u long term or short term than awful sleep quality.

ur right on this one bro. r u using melatonin constantly before every night? if u hopped off already how long uve been taking it? and was it like oral or in some other form? didnt get any nightmares or similar shit?

No, had good sleep on it. I got raw powder, 10g and took 90g flour and mixed. Then each 1/4 teaspoon = 100mg melatonin. Melatonin is completely fine, in fact beneficial to take long term at any dose. I am taking a very high dose for reasons past sleep benefits though.

The reason its not recommended long term is because IF you stop taking it you usually have a week ish of insomnia withdrawing. Therefore never get off it. U can read all the studies if u want. It will show its fine.

I rarely ever have nightmares. The wierd thing about it is multiple dreams per night.
