I have an asymmetry in my cheeks but it doesn't feel like an issue with my mandible if that makes sense. one side of my jaw is slimer and the cheek on that side is more slightly more hollow but on the other side my face is wider. I think the reason the right side looks less hollow is cos it is just wider so the cheek faces forward more and the light hits it at a diff angle and it looks flatter. my theory is either bloating or an over/underdeveloped masseter on one side but when I de-bloat it doesn't go away and idk if the masseter thing is even possible. are either of those possible and if yes then how do I fix it? Also it could be something to do with sleeping on one side but would sleeping on one side make that side slimmer or more bloated looking?

I didn’t read everything because I’m lazy rn but I had the same issue a while ago and I also thought it was because of my masseters. While it could also be your masseters in your case, this is probably caused by side sleeping / sleeping on one side way more than the other. Something about lymph flow being slower during sleep, and you make it worse by putting pressure on one specific side of your face by sleeping on that side. If you don’t sleep on your side, then idk

But my one-sided puffiness did disappear when I began sleeping on my back. You kinda gotta use a pillow on each of your sides so you don’t move while you’re sleeping. If I don’t use those pillows, I end up sleeping on my sides
