Theres a big difference between the aesthetic hollow cheeks and the rest of the face looking healthy at the same time with decently sized fatpads, which signal youth and health AND "lean" auschwitz-maxxed face with zero fatpads, giga wrinkly/foldy/depleted collagen etc.
You seem to not get the point. A good bone-rich face will look lean even at 15% bf or higher. Also at that bf %age, the rest of the skin tissue looks healthy.
If one needs to starvation-maxx for a lean face, its not even worth it. It also fucks up the hormonal balance when the body is constantly running close to red health bar in permanent survival mode.

Ppl get carried away too much with "muh I need a lean face at any cost". I'd argue that there are more effective and maintainable ways to achieve a lean face without sperging out with auschwitz-maxxing.
Things like face yoga- engaging groups of certain muscles regularly. If you train your mind to do it subconsciously, without even thinking about it, it will be the biggest looksmax for lean face, even at higher bf%age.
BUT- a big warning, any and all exercises of facial muscles must never be overdone. One needs to be very careful to avoid overtraining certain facial muscles, as it can backfire rather quickly and create unwanted folds/wrinkles etc.
