(This post refers to the Asperger syndrome/high functional autism.)
I guess that we all know that the obsession about looks is often a autistic thing and therefore its not rare to meet high functional autists on this forum.
So we might could discuss this topic on this forum.
So am I maybe -There is a suspected diagnosis and I am still looking into it.
-My question is how big of a deal it is?
I mean are there things that I should be careful about?
-Are Aspies prone to psychoses such as schizophrenia, paranoia, etc?
-I am also meeting aspies, which are completely different than me. Sure, its a spectrum, but I am often a bit socialer and more interested to going to partys, etc. even if I don’t like it always.
-And is it true that autism is a more know thing in America than in Europe, because often many people don’t really know what aspergers is and they often have a strange stereotype about „autism“.
-Are some drugs and medications often more dangerous for autists?
And should I be afraid about speaking my autism?
I am thankful for every helpful thread.
