I used to be obsessed with neurodiversity. I independently arrived at the autistic neandertal hypothesis in early highschool, although mine was more advanced: I called it he atypical neandertal hypothesis. Meaning that at the very leased things like Dyslexia and Autism came from contributing genes from neandertals when it coems to neural development. Both autists and dyslexics are not evolutionarily superior. Howver at the extremes, they have the advantage. So you could say they are the evolutionarily evolved geniuses... But their use cases are often capped, and thus reproduction is capped. Obv dyslexics have more success with reproduction than autists for obv reasons, which is perhaps why there are more dyslexics than autists...
