You just picked South Africa when I said MOST countries fought for independence, look at the history of Angola, Morocco, Algeria, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Congo uprising etc. Even South Africa was virtually colonised by Dutch Settlers until 1994 when they FOUGHT for the end of apartheid.

You can find articles like this about multiple African countries and that's just Africa. Same thing happened in South America, Middle East/Asia.
