The biggest factor when it comes to hair loss is inflammation. Your immune system basically attacks your hair. To cure this inflammation, you need to treat the underlying causes:

Excess estrogen

Fungus (Candida)

Overexposure to insulin

Many people blame DHT as the sole cause of hair loss, while this simply is not true. When your scalp is inflamed, yes, DHT expedites shedding. This is why people have stopped their shedding/regrew some hair on products like Finasteride (which inhibits the enzyme that converts Testosterone to DHT). The reason you don’t want to use Finasteride reduce your DHT is because DHT is the hormone that makes you a man.

DHT is responsible for erections, muscle hardness and the development of type-II male characteristics (such as facial hair, a strong jaw, dick growth, everything ****ing manly). If you inhibit it, your muscles will look soft, and your PENIS can SHRINK (SRS).

What I aim to do in this post is aware you on how you can fix your health and feel 100x better while regaining an aesthetic hairline.

Disclaimer: Consult your doctor or physician before following this protocol. I am not responsible for what you choose to put in your body.

Now before we start:
Remove wheat from your diet, it inhibits mineral absorption VERY strongly. Other grains do this as well to a lesser degree. Remove them too if you want your supplementation to be the most effective.

Take internally:

Virgin (Unrefined) Coconut Oil: 3 to 6 tablespoons /day
Lowers DHT within natural ranges, also increases libido.
It can sometimes stop shedding within a week. You can take more if you want faster results.

Iodine: 12.5-100mg /day
50mg is the standard dose. Be aware that you may experience symptoms of halogen detox as your body flushes out excess halogens (Fluoride/Bromide/Chlorine). These don’t really do anything good for you, so better out than in. Iodine is basically fuel for the Thyroid. The Thyroid filters the blood and regulates hormone levels. This is one of the most important supplements in this protocol.Use the Lugols solution version of it, it’s a mixture of Iodine and Iodide. JCrows is a good brand. Iodine is for your thyroid and Iodide is good for your bodily tissues (Hair, skin, organs, etc). The 5% formula contains 5% Iodine and 10% Iodide. It has a total Iodine content of 125.6 mg/mL. I take 8 drops of the 5% formula. This equals about 50mg. I drop it into empty gelcaps so I don’t have to taste it.
Make sure you get NON-radioactive Iodine.

Bonus: Iodine also helps sleep

Selenium Methionine: 300 to 400 mcg /day
Selenium must be taken with Iodine, it prevents negative side effects from occurring and converts the thyroid hormone t4 into its active version t3. Two Brazil nuts contain 400mcg of Selenium, I prefer them because Selenium tablets smell bad. The conversion of t4 to t3 is dose-dependent. I advise to not take more than 800mg of Selenium with Iodine (4 brazil nuts), because high doses can lead to a condition called thyroid storm, which can be deadly. I think doses up to 1200mg might be ok, but to be safe I wouldn’t take more than 800mg. 400mg is plenty anyways.

Chromium GTF: 400mcg /day.
This is to control blood glucose spikes, because excess insulin in the blood creates inflammation of the scalp which = perfect environment for shedding. High blood sugar feeds fungus (Candida) in your body which also = inflammation which = hair loss. High blood sugar also creates an acidic environment within the body which = inflammation. I take 200mg with each meal, for my two biggest meals each day.

Magnesium Citrate: 2000mg /day.
split up the dosage and take away from other minerals (like Zinc) as they compete for absorption. After a few months lower the dosage to 1000mg /day. Studies show Magnesium improves blood glucose by 50% and can cure Type 2 diabetes. This is good because insulin resistance can also lead to estrogen trouble and inflammation (which triggers hair loss). For optimal absorption, take minerals like Magnesium and Zinc with Apple Cider Vinegar.

Zinc Picolinate: 150mg /day
Displaces Copper. High Copper levels cause your body to hold on to Estrogen, not allowing excretion. Left untreated over time, Estrogen levels build up. High Estrogen = Inflammation. Countries like the US who use Copper pipes for their water experience these problems more often. Copper usually contaminates many foods of these countries as well. Take until levels are normal, then you can lower the dose to 50mg /day (if you wish). I personally take 150mg /day.

Molybdenum: 500mcg 3 times /day (Or with meals)
Also helps displace Copper.
Niacinamide (b3): 500-1000mg before bed.
Beneficial to sleep, cancer, anxiety AND hair loss.

Green Tea Extract: 3 to 6 caps /day
Anti-inflammatory.

Omega 3 Fish Oil: 3 to 4 gelcaps or more /day
Quells inflammation.

Cod Liver Oil: 3 to 6 gelcaps /day
Quells inflammation.
If you’re only going to take one type of fish oil, choose Cod Liver Oil. Has the bioavailable form of vitamin A, which is needed for vitamin K2 (below) to be absorbed.

Vitamin K2 (MK-4): 500mcg-1mg
K2 shuttles Calcium from your blood to your bones. The less Calcium in your blood, the less that will be available to settle into your scalp and prevent hair growth. If calcium is settled in your scalp, your **** is all clogged up and you can’t get any blood up there to give your hair the nutrients it needs to grow. K2 also prevents arterial calcification. Really good for heart health.

Vitamin E: 400mg /day
For optimal circulation which is needed to get nutrients to the scalp.

Boron: 3-20mg /day
Start low, gauge how you feel. Cycle 3 days on, 3 days off.

B Vitamins: Full-Fat Liver Powder contains a range of b vitamins.
B vitamins give you energy. People deficient in B vitamins tend to have sleep disorders and low HGH (HGH helps hair growth). Liver powder is superior to B-complex vitamins because B-complex vitamins contain B6, which can cause nerve damage (and is linked to autism). P-5-P is the broken down version of B6 and will not cause these problems.

P-5-P (Pyridoxal phosphate): Up to 300mg /day
Inhibits prolactin. Prolactin makes you shed.

Taurine: 1400-3000mg /day.
Rids the body of fibrosis including liver cirrhosis and scalp fibrosis. Fibrosis of the scalp prevents new hair from growing. Baking Soda: 3-4tsp /day taken in glasses of water throughout the day (on an empty stomach or 45 mins after meals and not before meals though as it neutralizes stomach acid) Candida fungus thrives in acidic (low-oxygen) environments. Baking Soda alkalizes (high-oxygen environment) the body so Candida cannot survive. Baking soda 30 minutes after meals will help final stage digestion after food leaves the stomach and enters the duodenum.

Cayenne Powder: 1 capsule with large meals
Helps digestion, can heal stomach ulcers aloe and improve heartburn.

*Take all of the fat-based supplements together.

Use topically on scalp:

Apple Cider Vinegar: Rinse scalp every other day before bed.
Mix 2-3 tbsp in a small cup of water. Rinse your scalp with it, rub it in, and dry your head with it still in. Sleep with it in your hair. It'll kill topical fungus AND clear calcium deposits which prevent hair growth (mpb people have this badly)
Bragg’s brand is the best; most health food stores have it.

Niacinamide and Boron:
After the vinegar rinse, open one Niacinamide and one Boron capsule and dump them in a bowl. Add a few trickles of water to create a paste. Rub it on your bald spots. Many people report new hairs to spring up within weeks.

Nizoral:
Use in the shower every other day at first, then reduce to 2-3 times /week. Leave in for 5-10 mins. The 2% formula is best, but I could only find the 1%. I use it every day. You can use a very small amount. I use about 3 dime-sized applications for mpb areas. Nizoral is an antifungal. Many people think it works because of its anti-DHT properties, but those are actually much weaker than popularly believed.

Hyaluronic acid
Apply to scalp every morning and night. Helps prevent dry scalp and hair from thinning and eventually falling out by locking in moisture into the follicle.

Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has been used for centuries for its healing properties. Rubbing aloe vera into your scalp and hair and letting it penetrate your hair follicles could condition and improve damaged, dry hair. After letting it sit for an hour, rinse the gel off with a mild shampoo.

Oil
Oils can moisturize the scalp, restore shine, and help give your hair and scalp the vitamins, minerals, and acids it needs. There are two forms of oils. Comedogenic and non comedogenic. Comedogenic oils should be avoided. They will clog your pores and create dormant follicles. Non comedogenic oils for hair include Argan oil (UV protector and hydrator), Peppermint oil (vasodilator), lavender oil (anti-inflammatory), jojoba oil (anti-inflammatory), rosehip oil (hydrator), and castor oil (anti-inflammatory and vasodilator). The total concentration does not matter so long as its enough to cover the scalp. Avoid putting oil anywhere more than two days a week and always make sure to shampoo the day you put oil in your hair. Although these are noncomedogenic, you still could experience oil clogging your pores and attaching to dead skin cells due to external pollution factors.

Derma rolling
Derma rolling creates tiny punctures into the skin that help stimulate regrowth of new cells and raise overall collagen production. Fibrosis and mast cells is prevalent in most cases of balding. Mast cells are 4 times higher in people who go bald. To reduce this scar tissue you need new cells. 1.5mm derma rollers are what I use because that's roughly the thickness of the epidermis (the outside layer of skin). Although the follicle itself lies within the dermis (about 4mm deep), you will cut into your sebaceous glands around 1.5- 2 mm of depth. With that in mind I believe cutting to the papillary layer (around 1.5mm) is optimal for regrowth and collagen stimulation. This is to be done once weekly and covered in hyaluronic acid post treatment. DON'T put anything on scalp (besides hyaluronic acid) 24 hours after a derma rolling session.

Clinically Approved “Nuclear” options for hair regrowth

Minoxidil derivatives (Rogaine/Kirland/keeps/etc)
Although the actual mechanism for minoxidil is not completely understood, these products are proven to regrow hair. minoxidil acts as a vasodilator and increases blood flow in the scalp. Short term hair loss is common while taking this product because it causes your scalp to begin the anagen phase where old hair follicles are pushed out and new ones are formed. The biggest con to Minoxidil is that you will have to take it for the rest of your life if you begin. If you stop cold turkey, your hair will fall out. I personally take minoxidil from kirkland. It only takes about 3 minutes a day to apply (once in the morning and once at night) and is rather inexpensive. You may experience sides, a prevalent one is dry scalp. This is due to the liquid version containing propylene glycol. Foam alternatives do not carry this substance and is the solution if your scalp dries out on the liquid version. It will take 3 months to see results.

Finasteride (Propecia)
The most “nuclear” option of all. Finasteride reduces the testosterone (t) to dihydrotestosterone (dht) conversion. This is the most reputable form of hair regrowth with the highest likelihood of success. The cons for this drug are very high and are why im not a proponent of this option. Side effects include impotence, loss of interest in sex, trouble having an orgasm, abnormal ejaculation, swelling in your hands or feet, swelling or tenderness in your breasts, dizziness, weakness, eeling like you might pass out, headache, runny nose, or skin rash. The reason for all these sides is it suppresses dht and maybe even t, the hormones that make you a man.

Experimental product for hair regrowth
Only take this with doctors consent and supervision, I’m not accountable for any harm this may cause.
Ru58841
RU58841 is an experimental anti-androgen developed in the 1990s for anti-acne and anti-hair loss topical applications.

It is one of the most powerful anti-androgen molecules out there. It binds directly to the androgen receptors in the skin and hair and BLOCKS them so that no other androgen can bind. In this way, it can block both testosterone and DHT from damaging hair. It can also theoretically block synthetic androgens like tren/winstrol/etc. though how well it blocks these synthetic androgens has never been studied.

RU58841 is related in structure/function to powerful anti-androgens like flutamide, which are usually used as tablets to fight androgen-sensitive diseases like prostate cancer. A drug like flutamide will functionally neuter you when you take it orally. RU58841 is about as strong, but with unique differences that makes it useful for skin/hair use.

First of all, when used on the skin, very little RU gets absorbed in the body. Second, and most importantly, of what does get absorbed, 99% gets broken down instantly into inert molecules with no effect on the body. Only 1% of the breakdown product acts as a systemic anti-androgen.

Based on the amount a typical user will apply for the scalp, how little absorbs, and how little of what absorbs has any biological effect, it would be almost impossible to experience any side effects on RU58841.

Cannot be bought in stores

The rights to RU58841 have traded hands between a bunch of pharmaceutical companies over the years. None of them have brought it to market. Over all this time, it has also never had big published human studies. All of this is because RU58841 is not commercially viable.

The first reason it is not commercially viable is it is not stable in solution long term. Once it's mixed into a liquid form, it begins to break down. No one knows how quickly as it was never published. But most say it should be mixed at most 1-3 weeks in advance of use. This means it would go bad too quickly sitting on a shelf in a pharmacy waiting to be sold.

The second and bigger reason RU58841 will never be commercially viable is it could be theoretically dangerous to pregnant women or children. As a topical anti-androgen, it could be transferred to children or a pregnant woman, ie. if they were running their hands through your hair (or if you did and didn't wash your hands after). Most likely it wouldn't damage a child or baby's development from such small transfers, since anything that gets absorbed into their bodies will also be 99% broken down and inert. But if a wife had a retarded baby, there would be no way to prove it wasn’t from the husband’s RU, and the company selling it would be sued to oblivion.

So there will never be a commercial form of RU58841. No legit company will take that risk.
As far as your own safety is concerned, like I said, there are no long term studies on RU58841. No safety issues were found in the animal studies or limited human studies that were done that I am aware of. But without proper research, it's technically a gamble.

How to use and mix up
Given the stability concerns about RU58841 when premixed, as well as cost and lack of customizability of solutions when buying premixed, its best to make your own solution. However, if you'd like to try it more simply to start, premixed solutions are available from Kane. You'll see as I explain how to mix RU, how I also incorporate minoxidil and azelaic acid. I'll briefly cover the mechanisms of action and rationale for minoxidil and azelaic acid later.

Things I use for mixing my RU solutions:
- Dipropylene glycol - easy to buy online. You can also use propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol is gentler on the skin. So that's what I've always used. lotioncrafter.com sells it cheap as do lots of other sites.
- 95% ethanol (eg. Everclear). This will be used with dipropylene glycol to make the solvent. Can be bought from places that sell 95% Everclear. Otherwise can be bought from chemical supply stores. You can say it is for making fragrances.
- A jewelry scale. Available on ebay for $10.
- RU58841 powder. I buy from Kane. Not cheap but worth every penny. Good customer service so far.
- Minoxidil powder. Can be bought on ebay at $60 for 50 grams which will last forever. Search 'minoxidil powder'..
- Azelaic acid. Optional. Can also be bought on ebay. Search 'azelaic acid powder'.
- 100 mL tinted glass bottles. Also available on ebay for a few dollars from China. Search ‘100 mL tinted glass bottles’.
- 1-2 mL eye dropper. I use the eyedropper I got from a bottle of Spectral DNC because it has mL graduations on it. But you can buy plastic/glass ones on ebay again for a few dollars. Search ‘eye dropper’.
- Mini Measure shot glass. Search ebay for 'mini measure shot glass'.
- Smidgen measuring spoon. Search ebay for 'smidgen measuring spoon'.
- Mini funnel. Search ebay for ‘mini funnel’.

Mixing it up:
The first step is to mix up some solvent. I just do this approximately. It doesn't have to be perfect. Pour 20 mL of dipropylene glycol into the mini measure shot glass. Pour this into your 100 mL tinted glass bottle (using the funnel). Then measure 30 mL of ethanol in the shot glass, and also pour this also into your 100 mL tinted bottle. You now have 50 mL of 60/40 ethanol/dipropylene-glycol solution. If you want more, repeat this process once more into the same bottle and you have 100 mL which will last almost 2 months.

Use your pipette and draw up ~2 mL of the 60/40 solvent. Put it in the shot glass. You will be mixing your day’s application in this shot glass in this way each day.

A dose of 100 mg RU58841 daily works well for me and seems to be generally accepted. You can go as low as 50 mg if you're lucky. I have been going up to around 125-150 mg daily since I got back on roids just to be safe. One flat smidgen spoon of RU58841 works out to almost exactly 50 mg. When I started I would measure by mg on the jewelery scale. Now I just take 2-3 flat smidgens of RU58841 and know that's close enough.

Same goes for measuring the minoxidil. 50-100 mg minoxidil will do the trick. One-two flat smidgens are good enough. Ditto again for azelaic acid if you are using it too.

Dump all those flat smidgen scoops (or measured amounts) of your powders into the shot glass containing 2 mL solvent. Swirl it to mix. Letting it sit 5-10 minutes often helps. You may find with the amounts I listed it doesn’t all dissolve and you still have some white powder floating in the shot glass. I do this on purpose. That way it guarantees the solvent is fully saturated, also you can still apply that undissolved powder to your scalp when you apply it, so you’re only getting more of everything which is good.

Next once it is fully mixed, use the dropper to draw up ~0.25 mL of solution at a time and apply to scalp, one area at a time. Rub it in each time to spread it around. You’ll want to make sure you get the frontal hairline, temples, corners, and crown. I find 2 mL is just enough to get a good coverage. If you want to be sure you are covering well enough, 2.5 mL is good too. I am using that more lately on roids.

Wash your hands and you are done.

So on a day to day basis, once you have your stuff set up, it’s as simple as:
- Put 2 – 2.5 mL solvent into shot glass
- Add 2 flat smidgens RU, 2 flat smidgens minox, 1-2 flat smidgens azelaic acid.
- Swirl and leave sitting a few minutes.
- Apply to scalp.

Miscellaneous Hair Styling Day to Day Notes
-It's very important to stop using heat to dry your hair, blow drying with cold air will save your hair from drying out.

-Avoid gels/pastes/pomeades/Clays and so on. They are pretty much all comedogenic and clog follicles. The solution would be to use some of the oils I mentioned above. Not only are they great for your health, but they actually look and feel better than any other product I’ve put in my hair. (even if I wasn’t at risk for balding, id still make the switch to oils for styling purposes)

-The shampoo you buy does matter. I mentioned nizoral above, You cannot use Nizoral every time though. I’d suggest a shampoo that is free of sulfates, parabens, polyethylene glycol, and triclosan. Shampoos that are natural exfoliants are great for your hair. Charcoal shampoos are my favorites and so is Pura D’or gold label. I have also heard that Living proof has an amazing line as well. Shampooing every other day is not bad and is recommended if you have the right kind.

Thanks for reading. Goodluck! Most regrowth occurs 3 months into a regimen. DON'T take FIN or RU before trying out everything else out for at least 3 months.

HIGH IQ thread op.

@DrOtaku Got bloodwork done and everything normal except low iron and high E2. (check my recent thread)

What supps can fix this?

DHT is responsible for erections, muscle hardness and the development of type-II male characteristics (such as facial hair, a strong jaw, dick growth, everything ****ing manly). If you inhibit it, your muscles will look soft, and your PENIS can SHRINK (SRS).

nope

and cope

Not a baldcel but vinegar is an amazing solution, i recommend using it every few days or every week on wet hair

read every single word, cheers
