There is not a whole lot of difference still but I guarantee, that your current hair line will be perceived as more attractive than that super rounded, feminine and neotenous one you have in this pic.

The few months you’ll will have to wait for Finasteride will not make any significant difference in your case. You won’t be close to bald all of a sudden with your current hair loss pattern.

Did you see his before? No chance he actually believes somebody would keep that round and hyper-neotenous hairline when transitioning into adulthood.

Realistically his hairline is barely a 1.5 on the Norwood scale at this point.
A 2 looks way more recessed in the temple region and shows stronger signs of thinning.
He should go on medication though as a precaution, given that it apparently runs in his family.
