Actually yes it is a failo. But honestly I feel amongst some people it's a non-failo. I'm so happy that despite being curry, I don't have to tell people I'm neither Pakistani or Indian.

Bengalis are a bigger failo than these two BUT only amongst those two. They will never accept us. They both have failos, whether it's street shitter, extremist, accent, IT support etc. Bengalis don't have this - at least not to the rest of the world.

When I go abroad on tell people I'm from Bangladesh originally they scratch their heads usually. Out biggest halo is not being paki / Indian and participating in their failos.

Although I admit one-way or another we are associated with them.

In what sense? Most of the world know these two people. In the UK people know bengalis since there is a huge diaspora.

Otherwise we are pretty much unknown to the rest of the world. If we are known, we are conflated with both of them. Which doesn't help... But those who don't conflate, and they're confused, that definitely helps.
