This team sucks so bad.

I remember 5 years ago when they beat bayern 3-0 at home and were dominating bayern away from home. Bayern struggled and scraped out a 3-2 win. Losing 5-3 on aggregate. Barca were a top team back then.

now they’re losing 8-2 at home. Just look at the failure across the seasons

2017 - 3-0 away from home at juve
2018 - 3-0 loss away from home at Roma
2019 - getting demolished 4-0 by liverpool away from home
2020 - getting demolished 8-2 at home by bayern

I think messi is gonna leave tbh. He looks like he’s given up. The entire team has given up. Suarez was decent tonight but it isn’t enough. 1 consolation goal means nothing.

Where TF is dembele? They hyped him up as the next big thing but all he has done is stay on the injury table, or stay on the bench, or play like shit on the field. I don’t wanna hear about him having to “adjust”. He’s had 3 seasons. Neymar needed only 1 to adjust from brazillian football to european football.

The midfield is a joke. The defence is nonexistent. Why is pique still guaranteed a place in the team? It’s been so for 11 years. They gotta get some new blood in. Lenglet isn’t good enough for a team like barca. Alba needs to be replaced.

Their youth academy is idle too. Wtf is going on ?

I love Hockey

Over for barcacells

And the game today showed the difference between ronaldo and Messi
Messi simply disappears when barca is losing while Ronaldo at least tries to do something
Messi is a gigaspie

i stopped watching football a long time ago

Its been a long time since I stopped enjoying football

Not to mention they have always been serial cheaters in the seasons where they did have CL success, I clearly remember this from the past.

2006: Semi-final against AC Milan, Shevchenko scores, Puyol dives so the goal gets disallowed (would have taken the game to ET) wasn't a legit foul. Final against Arsenal: Lehmann gets send-off (Never had a player been awarded a red card in a CL final at that point)
Eto'o scores an offside goal.

2009: Debacle against Chelsea, 2nd leg of the semis where Barcelona was playing basketball in their own penalty era jfl, Chelsea were robbed.

2011: RO16 against Arsenal, RvP gets a second yellow because he attempted a shot after the whistle had been blown (He could have impossibly heard it with all the noise at Camp Nou going on). Uefalona get help from the ref again.
Semi-final against Madrid: Pepe gets send-off with a straight red (not deserved) Higuain sees his goal get disallowed).

1992 & 2015 probably were the only seasons they didn't cheat jfl.
Madrid are clear.

They are finished.

Barcelona would be lucky to finish around 10th place in the English Premier league nowadays.

Brutal ngl. 3 out of the 5 UCLs they won were full of controversy. Typical for a Spanish team

Lmao and they spent 340 mil on Dembele, Griezmann and Coutinho, they need 120 mil euro to not be at loss this summer so that means no new players for next season

Yeah in all honesty, RM were also involved in some controversial ones (1998 & 2017 come to mind) but they have a lot more legit CL campaigns under their belt tbh.

I miss the old CL days when we had the likes of SAF, Mourinho, Benitez, Wenger, Rijkaard, Ancelotti, Hitzfeld, Capello, Mancini etc. all competing with each other.

I think he used to manage that great Milan team in the early 90s, failed miserably with England later on though.
I also remember 18-year-old Cesc Fabregas dominating his Juventus team in 2006.
Teenage Cesc was truly something special, probably my favourite player oat and definitely my favourite player growing up.
