normal person in my city hates immigrants, its only in the capital where they like them, even though they only have problems with immigrants in the capital

odd, your city must be the exception.. every single year for the past decade denmark's been experiencing net migration, i doubt they'd allow any in if most hate immigrants

in what way? the people or the government? we are already enforcing tighter immigration laws, temporary residence is now almost always temporary now and we are begining to take away syrian residency

i can see the governments' has taken some incremental steps, but again, immigration is still at about a 100K a year, not all of those will be non-Europeans but still.
the government is ultimately beholden to the people, you have fair elections, and you can vote for anyone you want. i think you overestimate to what extent the country's views align with yours, confirmation bias, essentially

you're living in a fairy tale

your governments (or should I say our governments, since I'm Dutch) won't stop since the population, to some extent, forces them to accept immigrants, and Scandinavia doesn't have the appeal of the U.S. to be as picky with its immigrants.

the lower birth rate and the more elderly the population, the more the government is forced to bring in new blood to prevent economic shrinkage (and more). the new blood will generally be from outside of Europe since the rest of Europe struggles with the same problem.

I find it very odd the nationalists don't actually zero in on the core problem, which is the lower birth rate (and increased elderly population), and only talk about immigrants. maybe because it's easier to point out the problem.

yes, and it does, maybe its worse for the polish since not only will they have this problem with the birthrate, people can easily leave to go to EU countries that are better off, so that's a double whammy
