People need to survive, so they work. At some point (usually midlife), people realize there’s more to life. But the drive to survive pushes people to spend money in order to avoid facing the dark night of the soul...the utter dread of death...the neverending question of the identity. It’s always more and more. And to top it off, advertising companies play off of our anxieties like mad. It’s almost everywhere you look. And most narcissist society will bully those who want to wake up, because somehow it makes them feel bad for “hustling”.

What do you think is the point of life?
Not sure but this post describes something very interesting, ive had plenty of ego death experiences and its peaceful, the idea I have about myself its full of fear and insecurities and fear of change, always want to compete and feel superior in order to feel safe in order to run away from death

But surrending those insecurities, fears, vanity will result in peace and acceptance wich brings peace of mind
