Is it actually harmful if I breath in through my nose and exhale through my mouth during meditation?

Will the exhaling affect my face?
Or simply breath in through and exhale through my nose then?
 
No, it won't affect your face by any means if you don't do it regularly, but try not to exhale through your mouth a lot, you can if you're doing hard exercise, if you're doing pranayama you will hear that it is beneficial to do so, but new age yoga people have a dogma about exhaling through your mouth.
