If I was given a role in fast and furious I wouldn’t choose the main characters like Dominic Toretto, The Rock, Paul Walker but rather someone that’s solid, got their shit together and mysterious like, well, Jason Stathom.

In a world where being a main character is romanticised by Gen Z I would choose to be Aaron Taylor in Bullet train rather than Brad Pitt. These semi side characters aren’t NPCs unlike most of the side characters in most of the movies.

Only time I’d genuinely like to be a main character is in protagonist based movies like Mission impossible and James Bond series because every side character from the protagonist side are mostly seen with flaws to enrich the protagonist’s role.

All this yapping to let you know this can be applied for real life too, you will always see that ONE dude trying to be the main character, that one dude in your gym, that one dude in class, that one dude in your uni; yeah let’s wrap it up cause that’s just corny and that’s about it. No woman with a three digit IQ finds it attractive.

TLDR: When everyone’s showing off, ironically be more understated to stand out.

In my opinion in 2026 you must radiate in social settings but in a subtle way because there are people that will catch on very fast if you're flexing, acting arrogant and self-important. Those are the people that you want to impress not the average person who brings no value to your life. It is important to develop the ability to differentiate between these two types. Of course there are exceptions, for example when your value comes from social contacts with normies, I guess only then it is worth to go out of your way to make yourself more likeable.
