I used to have mamelons(small bumps) on my incisor teeth(chopping teeth). At 12 I didn’t like the appearance and got a piece of metal, shaving them down. Turns out I shaved the enamel(protective layer) and will have tooth sensitivity there for life unless I get crowns. Be careful with your health, even if it makes you look better the physical pain can make life unbearable
