It has all the problems benzos have tbh. Also way dirtier and inconsistent effect. Better to just take a benzo sparingly once or twice a week when needed/wanted for a social event.

Pregab gives euphoria which wears off after about 3 uses, while giving u brain fog and dry mouth. If u dont think benzos make u low inhib u got fake benzos. They literally kill any anxiety and any sense of medium or long term thinking in moderate-high doses.

Pregab is a drug for amateurs.

My Xanax just reduces anxiety if I take 0.5mg and puts me to sleep at 1mg+

I agree Pregab can only be used maybe once a week at best, otherwise you build tolerance/dependence super fast. But in terms of the effect it is very similar to alcohol but with more euphoria and less lack of coordination.

I’ve not tried combining Xanax with modafinil so maybe I need to combine it with a stimulant to not fall asleep and get the desired effect.

U just haven't taken it much then or u had big intervals between. U build tolerance to the amnesia effects quicker thn the anti anxiety ones. My first time using I fell asleep. But once u get to where ur tolerance lets u take 2mg doses or so u can function fine and if barely any inhibitions. Also yh modafinil mixes well with it.

Pregabalin was always just a dirty high to me exactly like alcohol.

If you have anxiety like me, u gotta take it everyday for its effectiveness, no? at least thats what google tells.
on the other hand, you ll build tolerance quickly
