Being kind and being nice are not the same thing…
A kind person is someone who is helpful, supportive and always there for their loved ones.
But they are also firm and don’t take shit from others. They have boundaries and are willing to defend themselves.
A ‘nice’ person is someone who acts friendly outwardly but holds deep contempt for the people around them.
Instead of speaking their mind, they hide behind a fake veneer of sincerity and care. They are frauds and imposters.
Kind people are those that genuinely care about you.
Nice people are those who only want something from you.
Don’t be nice,
Be kind.
