your mind doesn't want the best for you. it wants to be lazy. you should be able to observe a thought and not give it attention. this has helped me deal with my anxiety. you should use your mind and not let it use you. at first you will feel like being mindful isnt really helping cause your still thinking about it but it helps in the long run.

It's a constant battle especially when your mere of a thought can paralyze your body by taking over it causing physical anxiety

i remember when i used to get mad at myself for feeling anxious and it would just make it worse. my throat would start to close up and my eyes would get watery

Yes, it's even more debilitating to others.

Ain't belittling of your physical symptoms, but I also clench my abdomen (stomach), genital, glutes, chest, shoulders & neck, face... Even my toes jfl...
