Bearboy was banned for the following thread:

However this thread does not break any of the rules listed. It was essentially banned because it was not liked by the admin. Furthermore, the admin claims he was banned in the past for something, as if that justifies banning him this time, but all that means is the admin is trying to make up rules on the fly about some threads being not allowed because he finds them immoral or some shit. This also sets up a precedent where a mod can just make up rules on the fly. For example what if someone says "faggots should be put to death", and some mod has a faggot friend and decides to moderate "hate speech". That would obviously be cucked and soy, so better to keep free speech to a maximum, as long as its not persecuting other users here.

In this thread, which is similar, another mod "True_cel", posts, but doesn't mod the thread. Likely because as a mod, he knows the thread is not against the rules, as "edgy" content isn't against the rules. For mods to delete content and ban users for petty reasons such as that they don't like it, is an abuse of power, and should be called out.

yeah of course. I linked the thread.
He banned both of us previously for making a story about raping some users mom and he said he thought we were serious lmao

Repeated abuse of power that will of course go unpunished.

this should be protested. its unfair that such users get banned. Bearboy is a law abiding citizen who advocated for a change in the law and provided reasoning behind his suggestion.

And even if it wasn't what rule does it break?
Unwritten rule: Don't hurt the precious feelings of whiteknights.

Nope, advocating or encouraging the act in any way shape or form is disallowed.

The rules do not leave much room here, they explicitly state “in doubt, don’t post.” As for me “making up rules on the fly”, that’s not true.

I took a rule that has been there since the start and applied it at my discretion, which is also explicitly stated to be allowed.

Furthermore, the admin claims he was banned in the past for something, as if that justifies banning him this time
Absolutely that justified banning him this time, if he’s gotten banned for rape threads numerous times in the past, I will obviously not be as generous the next time.

Or rather it was simple oversight, as he’s a user too and doesn’t interpret each thread he sees from the perspective of a moderator. Additionally, the thread posted was in OffTopic, which is outside of his jurisdiction in the first place. He couldn’t delete the thread even if he wanted to.

Did he advocate the act, or did he advocate a change in the law?

Would saying "cocaine should be legalized", be advocating illegal drugs?

Pulling the "muh joke" card for the umpteenth time when writing down your elaborate, morbid fantasies about raping a user's mom would have been disregarded on literally any forum online.

Oh man just thinking about it grinds my gears, but this one was not nearly as bad

Everyone knows it's personal

Yes, if you champion for a drug that is currently illegal, you are advocating for an illegal drug*.
The advocation for a change in the law regarding the act is directly correlated to the act. To separate the two seems foolish and overly pedantic.

Delusions, before that thread I had zero memorable interactions with either of you. I still don't aside from the warnings I've given you for those threads.

That's literally how politics and the real world works though. When people want a law changed, they are saying they want to do it, but are willing to obey the current laws, and hope they get changed so they can eventually do an activity without legal interference.

Insane mental gymnastics

Saying" legalize weed " is not the same as saying "smoke weed illegally "

how can you be this deluded

in addition saying "legalize weed" is literally legal in itself as an expression of free speech in most 1st world countries

Everytime you try to justify your outbursts the explanations get dumber and dumber

Stop trying to write analogies they are well past your capacity

When people truly want a law changed, they’d take it up at a serious political party or coalition and not an Internet forum wholly unrelated to said cause. As it stands the act is illegal and advocation for the act is disallowed within the forum.
If you disagree or take issue with anything I've said thus far, you can take it up with @Master

Last year, both forum owners got persecuted by the New York Times for another controversial forum of theirs, with their private information released to thousands. What makes you think any journalist that stumbles upon the thread will take it as a joke? I imagine you as a regular user don't care too much as it has little impact on you either way.

That's not what I said. In that very example, I said "advocating for an illegal drug" and not "advocating for taking illegal drugs". The mental gymnastics accusations come across as very ironic.

When did I say that advocacy was illegal? It's merely disallowed on this forum. As for free speech- this is an online forum for Christ's sake, not parliament. If you want to cry about your impaired rights to speech you are free to do so, so long you don't forget this is an Internet forum.

You have to ask yourself how you find yourself in a position where you have to defend banning a user for the advocacy of rape. For anyone reading, do not end up like the users I am conversing with.

jankjamin what do you think about the rape penalty? instead of just sentencing rapists to jail time or death, they get raped in a gangbang by prisoners.

Would make the US justice system mog

do you concur?

He knew he'd get banned but what can you do? Alexanderr is a 5'8 jew with a crooked nose getting mogged everyday in the netherlands. He has to cope somehow

Shouldn't you change the rules then, to make it more clear? BearBoy was obviously looking at the rules, which were not clear. He clearly believed, like most people did, that advocating for illegal activity meant advocating for breaking the law, not advocating for activity that is currently illegal, to be legalized. That in a way, isn't technically advocating for illegal activity. It's just advocating against the arrest of people who do such things. For all we know making rape legal at night would just cause women to not go out at night dressed like prostitutes and as a result no rapes would happen at all, where as rapes do happen in our current society.

Bearboy is a cringe retard and the forum is better without him

However, permabans in these communities are extremely cringe and should reserved for worst case offenders only (e.g. your Thomas Doms). Repeated minor offences should cap out at like a month
