Lots of jawcels from my high-school ascended hard (from 2-3 to 6-7) in their 20s just because of the beard.

Unfortunately, my shit genetics strike again and I can't grow a beard.

What do you guys think about minoxidil? I followed and read a lot about it in r/minoxbeards (that was my gateway to looksmaxxing stuff), but I've seen guys fuck their collagen and make the minoxidil systemic, which means their scalp can become minoxidil-dependant and bald prematurely.

So I've been thinking that a higher IQ solution must exist. What about...

  • Using women's minoxidil, meaning 2-3% concentration instead of 5%, to be less aggressive with the skin and prevent systemic absorption. If you think about it, that's the exact same thing women minoxidil is marketed for: women cannot afford systemic absorption because they really don't wanna grow a beard or grow their eyebrows.
  • Using a skincare routine that counteracts all minoxidil effects on the skin, especially collagenmin.

P.S.: I know it's better to just improve your jaw and I'm working on it, but on the meanwhile I really need a proper way to cope or I'll rope.

i hate my beard

use moisturizer because alcohol in minoxidil dries your face out.

and you are ready to go.

Prettyboy max

I can grow a good beard but I have prettyboy pheno so when I I let it grow it looksminned me very hard

does it really work?
Imo peppermint oil works better than minoxidil yea since it doesn't fuck up skin , but you should stack it alongside something , check Hair growth subreddits tbh a lot of essential oils have shown decent results , especially peppermint and rosemary oil iirc @forevermirin

You guys should srsly stop sucking peppermint/rosemary oil dick, this isn’t the same mechanism as minoxidil, peppermint/rosemary oils AREN‘T hair growth stimulants! The baldcels just get good results with rosemary and peppermint because they apply it on their SCALPS where DHT is rambling, those oils are alpha reductase inhibitors. So if anything it will kill your beard gains

Where did you get this from? Minoxdil dependency? Minoxidil will only lead to a shed, if anything, the hair will regrow to the baseline? The is no such thing as a minoxidil dependency outside of androgenic alopecia, regarding the REGROWN androgenic affected hair

i also thought about using 2% minoxidil as it goes way less systemic for slightly smaller results especially if combined with dermaroller
