I've been considering using minoxidil to help grow a beard while we're quarantined, I can kinda grow a goatee and I have some hair on the side of my jawline but it's pretty patchy... definitely doesn't look good if I grow it out beyond just some stubble. So I was about to buy minoxidil but when I did some research, I stumbled across some videos where people said they experienced hair loss due to this. I guess there's an initial shed w/ minoxidil that is supposed to be temporary, and this can happen even if you're not applying it on your scalp because it still get absorbed into the skin and then your bloodstream when you're applying it to your face. But I heard that for some guys, this shed went on for months, and they were losing A LOT. I don't think it's worth it anymore, but does anyone know if these concerns are legit? I don't think it's as common as some of the other sides
Also I'm 24 already and my facial hair has been developing consistently but slowly. I think I'll be able to grow a beard eventually cuz my dad can grow a decent one, but probably not until I'm in my late 20s at the very least.
