Is it too early to give up? I haven’t experienced any negative side effects, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything

Keep going with it if you're not getting any negative side effects. 2 months isn't long to be using it at all. If your skin is looking a bit flat and dead, try using some hyaluronic acid or glycerine based products- hydration makes a massive difference.
