Yes your looks do matter but there's other aspects in the societal hierarchy, even a perfect 9.99 one out one million will still be treated like a bum if he acts like it

its like a video game stat hexagon

Looks (The way your body and face look)
Status (Car you pull up in, Clothes you wear etc)
Persona/Personality (general way you act in public, like keeping your head down while walking gives you a bitch persona)
Reputation (the way people already know and perceive you)

All of these matter, you might say one matters more then the other but the truth is they all matter alot and just "looksmaxxing" your already mid face isnt gonna make you less of a bum

Ive seen this so much, a person who looks great (7-8+) get treated poorly cause of their other stats, theyd probably get treated worse if they looked worse but they are getting treated poorly anyways which is my point. Everything matters people dont buy lambos just because they look good

Perfect example is Zyzz, his looks were great and so was his persona, if he looked bad but had that persona he might pull, but he might just come off as a bum, if he looked great but acted lame he'd be labeled lame or a person with potential

Interesting. When I thought of persona I always thought about the moments when they start talking to people. I never thought of the nonverbal precursors.

Reputation is a really big one. So is confidence. Arguably reputation is more but it often takes some confidence to afford a good reputation.
