Whenever I speak with someone about my looks and depression it induces, they always say things like "bu-bu-but be happy, you aren't starving in africa, you don't have any health problems, you have your vision and everything in place"
I used to feel like an ungrateful dickhead after all such conversations. Why can't people just understand that i am grateful for so many things, but not for all of them. My genes and my looks are screwd.
"But dude some people have it way worse"... ok? Most of the people have it way better. There will always be worse, would it be okay for me to go to a starving african kid and tell him: "be happy you are not blind"?
To conclude, i am happy and grateful about the fact i have a roof above my head, food on my plate and water, but you can't convince me that its not brutal when you are bellow average looking
