I know one shouldn't be aspie.
Being NT imo is better but not ideal

Why I believe it's not good:
It's a sheep mentality
You will settle for averageness (why do this when it's not good in any other aspect?)
You won't ever be popular
Won't ever statusamaxx
You won't have the same amount of respect

There's a better ideal
To not be the person invited to parties to fill the space. Be the first invited because you're fun.
Be one who's opinion matter in a social group
Be the one who starts shit with friends not the one tagging along
Be the one that's got option in different social circles
Be the one always first in peoples mind
Have and stand by your own opinions
Be the one people always wants to be around
Strive to be well liked but still respected

Here looks will help but we all know someone whose look don't match their charismatic level

I was NT and last year I strived to be more
I started to be the one who starts shit
Be the one who starts conversations with strangers
Now I'm heard a lot more but speaking less then before
People laugh more at my jokes
Invited to more stuff
I am way more positive than pessimistic then before
I say yes to more stuff because im less lazy

I'm still NT but it's getting better
Life is getting better for this reason

Thats exactly what I said. Nobody says you need to overload your brain with junk information from snapchat and youtube just to be socially normal. Its entirely possible to be relatively wise and also "normal". Reading more books won't make anyone less nt, just as consooming bullshit information will not make people more nt.

Being nt is about reminding yourself of the ancient, natural social abilities that you have but forgotten. Unless someone has an actual mental health issue anyone can be nt. Maybe you can remember how as a child after you watched a really cool movie or played a game you liked you would perhaps start acting a bit like some of the people in whatever you just spent your time with. It's about being around nt people to "calibrate" so to say, your brain to the normal way of communicating.
