im from italy. i just checked, the avg height for girls is around 166cm, but then how is it possible that i was literally one of the shortest people in my class when i went to school (women included), lol. but yeah im sligthly belove avg of men which is 177cm. then again, im the shortest in my family, as even my mother and sister are taller than me and by quite a bit. another thing i notice is that when i go out almost all women of my age are taller than me somehow and well above their avg height

Yeah IDK. I am like 5'8 and I am taller than most women, granted I live in America and the average height here is like 5'3-5'4 for women.

pretty much all the girls of my age in my class when i went to school where all as tall if not much taller than me, so it might be where i live specifically. i know people in south italy (where my family comes from) should tend to be shorter, but i live in the northern region so ig thats different. i find it weird how im still smaller than my mother and sisters tho, i should be much taller than them right?

glad someone else thinks this way, i thought it was only me. boomers are mostly less taller than me, its mostly if not only young people that are. perhaps my stunted growth can be explained if i take a look at my past lifestyle (years of being severely under weight, always had sleeping issues and no physical activity). seeing my family being taller than me kinda makes me uncomfortable now

unfortunately i dont think to have been adopted. cant ask my father his heigh since i dont talk to him anymore, but i think he should be slightly shorter than my mother. but anyway yes, my mother and my sister are taller than me. my sister is quite tall for being a woman and people usually notice that, she should be around 180cm
I don't think i've ever heard of a guy being 174 and mother + sister being taller and like 180, that's insane. According to what i know and their heights, you should be 182-184 minimum if not taller. It makes absolutely zero sense that you are 174, man that must be so emasculating being at home heightmogged by your sister and mother, what the fuck. Brutal stuff man. And since your father was at the minimum 178-179 then it still doesn't make sense for your height. Something went really wrong with you buddy.
i recently found out i have thyroid issues and i think i have been suffering from symptoms for a long time, my mother usually brushed off my constant low energy to me just being me, but i have no idea, i will only be certain i have a bad thyroid in about 2 months when i will get more blood tests done, and even then i cant be certain for how long ive had this problem.
Yh it seems like something did go wrong, impossible to know for sure because anything found out now, there's no way to know you had that issue back during puberty. Btw how old are you now? Your sister being 180 is ridiculous, yh girls can be that tall but their brothers are almost always giga tall though like 6'2-6'6 range if the sister is 6'0.
