I wouldnt go as far as to say I believe in god, but unlike a lot of morons on the internet I'm actually aware of how strong a case christianity presents in the theological and philosophical sciences. Currently, speaking generally, atheists are actually the whipping boys of the day in academia. Popular figures like Sam Harris got absolutely embarrassed by apologists like William Lane Craig.

IOW: I fear that the christian god is real. I would also take this time to say its sort of funny how one of the most braindead arguments against christianity that is routinely employed is hurrbadurrr if god loves everyone and he is all powaful why did he make so much suffering??? why not just make everything easy mode for everyone??? This is grade school stuff, or at least it was when kids actually received a religious education in school instead of learning how freaks dilate their pseudovaginas. Man is fallen (corrupted might be a better more easily understood word for the modern audience), no better than any other kind of animal, and subject to the exact same laws of nature. That is why religion, or at least christianity, is supposed to be transcendent - it is through forcing yourself to be more than an animal, slave to his biological impules and whims, that you are able to transform yourself into maybe something better, maybe something capable of receiving welcome in heaven.

That all said, some days i choose not to believe as a cope. Because if god is real, if the bible is even a 40% accurate account of his dictum, then well boyos, all this nonsense we concern ourselves with just becomes a joke, and i would have to ruminate on what a piece of shit I am and beg for forgiveness.
