Anyway if you have some friends you can relie on bars, clubs and student parties to get girls. In France its a bit tough to socialise with people unless they are drunk. For me who don't drink alcohol I can tell you its playing the game with ultra hardcore mode activated.

Depends on the period. If you come in summer, you'll meet girls from marseille and from the whole country who come for holidays, looking to make friends and memories for their summer, and yes, they are much easier to approach. But If you come in winter, it is almost the same shit.
