Losing weight will be tremendously easier if you use fat as an energy source instead of carbs. As your body won't need to switch from using glucose to your bf as energy. This can be done by eating animal organs like the brain, duck liver, or pancreas, and high-fat raw dairy like butter or cream. This diet will also provide lots of protein too; most of your daily meals should consist of muscle meat, and eggs are good too. Muscle meat already contains most micronutrients essential for the human body. Eating some liver will fill in the nutrients that muscle meat is lacking. If you eat like this, make sure you are getting your energy from fat; this is essential for staying in fat-burning mode. Any animal product is good, ideally it should be source well, but if you don't have the resources or money, there are ways you can achieve this diet by shopping at a normal grocery store. Carbs also block leptin, which signals to your brain that you are satiated and to use the energy you've just eaten. Switching to fats will increase metabolic health and prevent you from overeating. Don't count calories; they are the measure of heat energy, which isn't how we digest food.
