Get strong on weighted pull ups (neutral or wide grip) and a row variation (barbell, dumbbell, Tbar neutral grip.) that’s all you need for lats, trust me

chest supported row good?

chest supported row good?
It’s fine but grip should be neutral to hit lats. Pronated grip will hit rear delts traps etc. If ur talking about hammer strength chest supported row (horizontal plane) you can do it unilaterally to get a better stretch on your lats

If you don’t even understand what I mean by “neutral grip” then you’re probably a beginner.

Work on pull ups. If you can’t do pull ups, use the assisted pull up machine. Once you can do pull ups, move to weighted pull ups and progress on those.

Learn how to barbell and dumbbell row. Stay off the machines for now

i can do regular pull ups. i’ll start.
neutral is the horizontal bar on the first machine.
i’ve trained before consistently, but not properly and am now getting back into it

beating your child or brothers (works lats the lower back)

Hahahahah I was doing pull-ups for reps with 20kg attached to me for reps with autoimmune condition at 16 at like 65kg. Shocking. Start doing assist I guess.
how old are you now

pull ups (add weight when bodyweight becomes to ez) for width, bent over rows and t-bar for thickness

Wide grip lat pulldown, cable lat row.

Basically any pulldown/pull-up variation and any lat row variation. The two I listed have given me the most growth personally though.

Pull ups are really great for growing lats, people forget all about them. Weighted pull ups are difficult but if you can do like 5 pull ups you can start adding weight, even if it’s 5-10lbs on a belt. You will get stronger quickly.
