you have two inches of hair, type 1b. just grow it out for now while you decide on your style. not much point using sea salt spray yet as you probably dont have enough hair for it to work properly but try it and see how it looks

just grow it until it gets too much then start getting regular haircuts every month or 2 months depending on how fast it grows back

Taper is fine for maintenance. If you have a good forehead size and good hairline a middle part flow is a shout. If not, fringe can halo hard for some. Just make sure you use products to get your hair textured/wavy as straight hair is not ideal
