Best hairstyle and length for thick curly ethnic hair?

My hair looks good when wet cuz it hangs down with curls. But when it dries it looks subhuman, frizzy and shit. Thinking of going short (im medium length rn) but im nw1.5

use conditioner and let it air dry thats how i do mine, it can last 3 days then re do it to refrsh the curls

I tried many things like coconut oil cream snd leave in conditioner but when it dried it looks subhuman and snd unkempt
