Depends but you can always replace the battery, also its not that hard you just download the os and then use a tool like rufus or ventoy to write the iso onto the usb then you boot into the usb, you can look up a tutorial its a very simple pr

There are still stuff I use that can’t run on linux (valorant, photoshop, etc.) Also you have to use the command line to do shit way more on linux. Most distros need to guimaxx and make it easier to install packages. I wish I had the patience to do alldat but i don’t.
There are always enough alternatives for programs but you can run most window apps via wine which isn't that complicated, and as for gui a lot of distros have become gui centered like mint, fedora, cachyos and distros such as most of your complaints only rly seem to apply to something like arch, gentoo and such which were made for people do that stuff more so as a hobby and interest, also cl isnt crazy its just typing sudo dnf/apt/pacman and whatever package name you want and is no more complicated than searching for a page to install an app
