My hero academia was considered new gen when it came out, now it's pushing retro in 10 years along with black clover

There needs to be a new tag for anime that came out in 2020+ such as newest gen

ngl when i read reading my hero manga around vigilante arc i considered it best new gen but nowadays 2020+ im not really sure nothing is good really nowadays

Nah return of kings is ass, Kuroko is the typical sports anime, just the only anime I could think of with colorful characters

One of my classmates binge watched the new Naruto show for a month continuously. I don't remember what it's called baruto I think. Anyway so this guy has gone for an internship and couldn't watch anime the first thing he did after he came back was completing the entire show continuously for a month. He just left his room to eat and take a shit. I think many Anime fans have a few screws loose

Alot of the new anime are starting good, but keeping it good and consistent is what separates them from the classics


For it to be a modern day classic, it needs all good arcs

For the newest-gen I kinda put it at when Solo-leveling came out as it introduced many people to anime.

For me the best new-gen has been (top3): oshi no ko, 86, Mushoku Tensei. I think there are plenty of good ones made during this time.

Also it seems that China's trying to push into this market with Donghua. I tried watching To Be Hero X, but it's so ADHD, everything is moving so fast (character development doesn't make sense). The really recent Lord Of The Mysteries (airing) seems promising, still a bit fast paced, but at least it makes "sense." That would be my favorite one ongoing now, anime included.

Yea, to be hero x has so much character arcs, atp, it's just a way better Ishura
