is herbst appliance or forsus is best way? and is it worth if they will push your upper jaw back and lower jaw forward with elastic bands? im 15 rn and im have overbite about 3mm+deepbite 50%? what should i ask to my ortho to ascend? btw my teeth are straight and my palate is wide enoung(about 43-45mm) and i have aesthetic smile, am i need do braces or better do surgery in the future? but when im jutting my side profile is way better

My orthodontist told me to use elastic bands w braces but i didnt because it was uncomfortable.

The braces were supposed to be removed after 2 years but because of the fact that i didnt use them, it ended up taking 4 years

Yea it did but could be due to puberty i started wearing braces at 11 and got them removed when i was 15
