i have hormonal acne in certain spots and a good bunch of texture on my forehead and parts of my cheeks. my skin gets super oily esp on my forehead and brows but itll get dry on my cheeks

current routine:
- cleanser from tiege hanley (their products feel super light on my skin open to recommendations tho) 2x daily (morning and night)
- exfoliating scrub (2x p week)
- spf 30 (tiege) hanley their moisturizer actually feels super light and its felt the best on my skin (use it every morning)
- moisturizer after i come back from the gym (after face wash)
- tretonoin (nightly)
- glycolic acid (1x per week but that shit hurts like fuck and leaves patches on my skin dry as shit and the texture looks like its rotting need help here)
-
benzoyl peroxide 2x daily.

i eat mostly clean but i'll have some crash days. i'm open to any suggestions to change it so i can get some glowing skin

How old are you

Isotretinoin and some soft cleanser (the one you're using right now should work).
Moisturiser as well, but that's a given. No need for exfoliator.

Tretinoin is a good alternative, just make sure to start at a low concentration (0.025%).
Optimally, you should complete a full accutane course, and then go on 5mg (for life) and tretinoin.

You can find sources online, much cheaper and easier than going to the doctor.

Here's a full skincare guide, if you're not going down the isotret route:

most skincare is cope. ive tried nearly everything and have a clean diet. the only thing that made my acne go away for good is isotretinoin. all i do now is cleanse and moisturise + spf

Your acnes pretty calm, would stick to what your doing. One thing that improved mine was not cleansing in the morning, only in night. I just rinse with water.

Even using a gentle cleanser 2x a day was too much for my skin, the first 2/3 days were a bit oily but everything fixed it self and my acne improved.
