Best sneakers for height and looking good at the same time

What are the best sneaker/shoes or boots that gives a solid 1 inch of height or close and looks good with casual pants like jeans and chinos at the same time ?
Please don't recommend me hideous sneakers like those ugly airmaxes.
Currently I own a pair of vans sk8 hi and AF1.
