rent sucks, and I find rent to be the sole obstacle in the way of achieving financial freedom.

even dogshit minimum wages become quite comfortable once you get rent out of the way.

the thing is, how can I avoid rent?

I am a minimalist and I could fare well even in a studio apartment as long as I do not pay rent.

live in your car
from what i seen, of people doing that.
it's oddly alot more expensive, than expected. Stuff that can be done relatively cheap, due to having a home, becomes expensive when living in car. Stuff like, taking showers, eating and drinking (home cooking and coffee etc..is way cheaper than buying that), washing clothes, etc...
not to mention, how much time is costs, car people. to do these mundain things like eating, shower, etc.. due to needing to travel to places, etc.

tbh.
having a own place, is so worth the cost of it. in general.

zero for that, is probably not realistic. unless one can life with parents/family.
but cheap, can be arraged maybe. factors to make it cheap: shit location, roommates, shared common areas, small space, doing work/services for less rent pay, etc...

Yeah that’s the end goal. Until I buy a house, how can I minimize rent to fund my money-making methods?

shower - gym membership like 30-50$/mo (u gonna need this anyway)
eating/drinking - go to a grocery store and pick up bread/cold cut meat etc hella cheap + ramen for a change. fast food once in a while is also inexpensive.
and having my own place i realized its actually not that cheap unless u really prep your meals and shit and u end up eating out anyway.
washing clothes - <$5 per load anywhere itw? 4 loads a month so $20??

most of the "inconvenience" shit is about getting used to it + you're gonna be saving north of $500/mo anyway so its kinda worth it. just need to find a good place to park that isn't in the middle of nowehere + dont have pigs harassing u everyday

Also keep in mind this lifestyle will be temporary, until I have enough money saved for whatever I want to do.

Definitely viable.

This should be cheapest way. Everything home made and home prepped. Never ever buying food and drinks out.
if one wants to frugal maxx.

I can eat healthy and cheaply this way.

I'm admiring the dedication and efforts, these people make that chose this.

To add.
To calculate if it's worth the saved money..
One also gotta add in these factors imo:
1. Wear/tear of car, aka extra car costs (extra fuel, extra maintenance costs, and extra depreciation due to heavier use).
2. The amount of extra time it costs, to do regular daily stuff (times hourly income one can earn)? Assuming it does take extra . Assuming one can monetise ones time.
