Best way to cut sugar intake?

Ive recently started losing weight by excersising and engaging in physical activity, but I cant get dieting right. Firstly, what should I cut out to maximize fat loss, and what can help me cut out sugar (ex: not crave sugar).

Diet soda will help with cravings, I typically drink it with every meal on a cut.

To maximize fat loss you would want to eat high volume low calorie meals, which will allow you to lose weight while not feeling constant hunger. I would recommend just taking recipes from Greg Doucettes cookbook that you can find online.
 
High protein for daily appetite suppression and coffee for doing it temporarily
