It depends on the type of scar, if it is just hyperpigmentation you can try azelaic acid 10-20%, tretinoin 0.025%, tranexamic acid 2-5%. They are all potent, so you must start slow.

The most important thing is protecting the skin from the sun though, so always apply SPF in the morning.

If you want to speed things up and don't have active acne and your skin tolerates those ingredients well you can always dermaroll/dermastamp at 0.2-0.3mm to increase the absorbtion of those topical products I mentioned. However, if you microneedle too deep you can push the pigment even further down to the dermis and it might make things worse. So be careful.
