beta carotene on a lightskin/oliveish skin tone

on the darker side right now cause im tanned asf but would beta carotene not be optimal for my skin tone cause of my oliveish lightskin complexion sorry no pic u niggas gotta go off imagination cause i got no good lighting that will do me right
