Big city tinder observation

I’m in the suburbs of a big ass city, so most of the girls i see on tinder are 5-20 miles away. Matches are pretty rare for me ngl. But a recent observation I’ve made is that when a girl is 1-2 miles away(local community college or just from the same town) I match with them almost every time. Not like I’m keeping track but it’s easily a good bit above 50%. Maybe more than 80%.

So I guess part of why I’ve struggled here is not bc of my looks/lack of good pics. It’s not bc I’ve gotten my elo rekt bc of low desirability. It’s gotta be because tinder includes distance in how they stack the deck of who a girl sees. When a city has so many people, how often is a girl gonna get to the profile of a guy who is 10-15 miles away, even if based on looks she would swipe on him?

nigga this also means the proportion of guys trying to get her also much higher. Mainstream cities especially those with tourism are chad central as well

So you think maybe if I lived downtown instead of a decent drive into the burbs I’d get a lot more matches? I see tons of girls on there of a quality lower than those I match with who are local, but don’t match. Maybe it’s not that thousands of beckies aren’t swiping no they just never see me. Would explain why I did so much better in other cities when I’d use passport to actually set my location down in the city

Exactly, explains why I did so well with new account boost(99+ in 6 hrs) then dropped to 3-5 per day doing the whole 100 swipes daily. There just are barely any college age girls out here!
