We want them to come here so we'll have the advantage. Vice versa, they want the same. This is where intelligence plays a role. If we can remove what little influence they have over here while sharing these facts with the Chinese people behind their government's eyes, thus showing them how weak the CCP really is... maybe, we could instigate civil unrest. If that happens, we can sneak more weapons across the Pacific while they attend to their domestic problems. The goal is to prove to the world China are frauds. They lie about everything. The only people who think US is invicible are americans who have no basic military knowledge. They have watched too many holywood movies where america wins no matter the odds and these people have no idea what a real war is like.
They are also assuming they are gonna be distant observers and that war won't affect them, when the reality is that not only their cities, houses and stuff are gonna be destroyed, but they will be forcefully conscripted to die and end up dying for a random drone bomber, and there's a huge chance all your friends and several family members are gonna die too.
That's what happens when all the generation that participated on WW2 is gone, now no one remembers the reason why countries decided to create things such as ONU and OTAN right after WW2. Those who cheer for war now are gonna deeply regret.
