"BIMAX FRAUDING" APPROACH

In this thread I will show you how you can achieve results similar to jaw osteotomies if you are someone with a downgrown jaw but are not ready to commit to bimax surgery, for whatever reason.

In general, it’s a very difficult task to find a normie surgeon who would perform full jaw surgery for the specific condition I will mention below.

Instead, I will present an approach that I’m personally planning to undergo myself.

Before you decide to go with this approach, make sure that:

- You get a TMJ examination ($150–$400)
- You get at least an Xray scan so you can see what your jaw structure looks like
- You have seen an orthodontist who confirmed that your bite is okay
- You don’t experience sleep related issues (waking up at night, snoring, etc.)

THE APPROACH:
1770122637924

1770122646006

1770122653948

Example of such genioplasty in the case of a downgrown jaw
1770126400760

Dr John McHugh

Pyriform or Paransal Implants (both address lower midface deficiency)
1770126664237
1770126676239

Some examples of people getting chin implants placed on downgrown jaws without first addressing chin rotation.
1770127004660
1770127062988
1770127091563
1770127124216

So again, who do I recommend this approach to?
- People on a smaller budget
- People without obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- People with healthy TMJs (no jaw joint issues)
- People without bite malocclusions
- People without severe recession, mainly downgrown jaws

Price
≈ 7-13K USD

Breaking it down:
Genioplasty: $3,000–$5,000 USD
Chin implant: $2,000–$6,000 USD
Pyriform implant: $2,000–$6,000 USD
Prices can vary depending on the region. In most cases, it’s best to perform both implants during the same procedure as this helps reduce anesthesia, operating room, staff expenses costs.
With this approach, I wouldn't generally recommended custom implants, especially for people who are trying to keep costs lower.

Pyriform implants are not highly customizable anyway, choosing a larger standard size usually works well for most midface deficiencies.
Regarding the chin implant, a standard off the shelf implant would be enough in most cases unless you really have some special expectations regarding your chin shape.

I don't mind my gonail angle In fact I want to keep it because I can have a larger lower third If I advance it linearly now I am still skeptical wether this will be a good idea but I need to have a larger lower third to balance out my front facial thirds
