why he didn't make it parallel to the floor, by making maxilla&mandibula CCW rotated ?

Can't watch video rn but the occlusal plane shouldn't be completely parallel to the Frankfurt plane

think they didn't change the occlusal plane because it was bsso only for whatever reason

and i was asking what's that reason?
idk. maybe he simply told the guy he could get LJS only because it would be less invasive or cheaper.

Maxilla already in an ok place. Borderline cases like that it’s always easier to just do BSSO. Obviously if a dude favouring aesthetics went and insisted bimax, the surgeon would probably be happy to do it. But tbh he looks good with just BSSO.

As for angle, most surgeons do between 0 and 8 degrees against Frankfurt plane. I think the “normal” ranges are actually like 4 all the way up to 12 degrees.

Different surgeons prefer different aesthetics. I remember Ramieri planned one guy to go to 0 and another surgeon said he didn’t like a flat occlusion. I think it depends on the face and the extremity of the movement.
