I’m looking at gunson and raffiani, mainly gunson because of his results for people with sfs and how he really takes into account soft tissue. which people like pag don’t really do well.

Is there anything I’m missing? Anyone better to look into & research? Price is not an issue at all, and I don’t mind paying a lot extra even if it’s only 1% more successful.

As for wait times with both, I know they’re very long, I don’t mind since I’m not in any rush

It doesn't matter if you have SFS or not
People with SFS don't overcrowd a spesific surgeon
If he's overall good then he's good with CW and downgrafting too
Their knowledge isn't any lesser when it comes to CW rotation and maxillary downgrafting so...

Yes for sure, but there r surgeons who are more skilled in working with certain patients and features, that can’t really be denied

It will come down to YOUR luck in the end... SFS is pretty rare so a surgeon might be able to save you but youll never know because they most likely wont get much cases like that...

I understand what you're saying but some surgeons would hesitate to downgraft the whole maxilla even if it is needed, because it is the least stable movement in all jaw surgeries

It has never seemed to be a problem for the docs i had consultations with to be honest... Not saying they could all definitely pull it off just because theyre confident but i get where ur coming from!
